The annual general meeting (AGM) of Active Retirement Network Ireland CLG will be held on Wednesday 24 June in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel, Gleeson Street, Athlone Co. Westmeath.
The National Art & Craft Exhibition will take place in conjunction with the AGM in the Sheraton Athlone from 23–24 June.
The AGM is an opportunity for members to influence the future direction of Active Retirement Ireland, share ideas and elect Board Directors. It is also a chance to learn about developments in the national organisation and meet with other members from across the country to network, reconnect and enjoy social activities across the two days.
Registering to attend
ARA secretaries and Company Members will receive correspondence shortly on how to register attendance at the AGM.
Accommodation
Booking is now open through the Sheraton Athlone Hotel for attendees who would like to reserve accommodation for Tuesday 23 June and Wednesday 24 June. The hotel package is as follows:
€239 per person sharing (Double/Twin) – two nights B&B + two dinners including Gala Ball
€325 single occupancy – two nights B&B + two dinners including Gala Ball.

National Art & Craft Exhibition entries
A form will be included in ARAs’ posted information packs for members who wish to enter exhibits for the National Art & Craft Exhibition. This form must be returned to the national office by 29 May 2026.

Posted information packs will be sent to all ARA Secretaries and Company Members in early to mid-April. These packs include further important information about the National AGM and Art & Craft Exhibition, including all forms for registering attendance, Board nominations, transport information and how to submit art and craft for the exhibition.
