The draw for the Active Retirement Ireland National Raffle took place on Thursday 28th November and the results are as follows:
1st Prize: Maureen Milligan, Lifford, Co. Donegal – €5,000
2nd Prize: Callan A.R.A, Co. Kilkenny – €2,000
3rd Prize: Mary Mitchell, Tuam, Co. Galway – €1,000
Holiday Prize, sponsored by Tourism Northern Ireland – Leighlinbridge Active Retirement, Co. Carlow.
Over 360 local groups sold tickets raising almost €46,000 for membership support services in the national organisation and up to €60,000 for the ARAs that participated. A tremendous 35,500 tickets were sold, with Shannon ARA finishing as top-sellers with , just ahead of the RAMS.
