The organisers of the annual Golden Years Festival in Waterford are pleased to announce the programme for the 2020 edition of the event. Taking place from 9th-11th November in the Tower Hotel, Waterford City, the festival was inspired by the first patron of Active Retirement Ireland, beloved Irish actor Anna Manahan.

2020’s programme is as follows:

MONDAY 9th NOVEMBER

8.00 – 8.15 p.m.
Official Opening of the Festival by The Metropolitan Mayor

8.15 – 9.15 p.m.
Cabaret Show with various guest artists, and comedian and M. C. Paul Farrell

9.15 – 10.15 p.m.
Talent Competition

10.15 -12.00 midnight
Dancing with Dave & Ritchie

TUESDAY 10th NOVEMBER

9.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Bowling Competition in Butler Community Centre
(Light refreshments will be served between 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.)

11 a.m. – 11.45a.m.
Ecumenical Service in Christ Church Cathedral
A celebration of the life of our Senior Citizens with Waterford Male Voice Choir

1.45pm – 4.30pm
Fashion show in The Granville Hotel
(Light refreshments served)

2.00pm
Art Competition in The Tower Hotel

Dinner served @ 5.30 p.m.

8.15 p.m.
Part Two of the Talent Contest Cabaret Show with various guests, music & dancing with Dave & Ritchie
