Regular Giving

Donating monthly by Standing Order to Active Retirement Ireland is one of the most effective ways to support our work. With your regular donation we can to enable older people to lead an active, happy and healthy life.

To give a regular gift please click on the link below and download a standing order form. Once you have completed it and send it directly to your bank.

Standing orders are distinct from direct debits. When you set up a standing order, you choose the amount of money to pay. With a direct debit, the organisation is allowed to alter the amount of money it receives.

For paying regular gas and electricity bills, the direct debit option is most appropriate, as the cost will vary from month to month. As there would never be a time when we would alter the amount of money that you give to us, we feel that a standing order is the best and safest option for you. At any time, you are free to alter the amount you pay, change the frequency of payment or cancel a standing order.

Tax Efficient Support

Active Retirement Ireland can claim back the tax paid on personal donations of €250 or more in any calendar year. If you make a donation of €250 or more this year, it can be worth €45 more to Active Retirement Ireland. You can make a once off donation or you can set up standing order of €21 each month.
