We are deeply shocked and saddened by the death of Noreen Daly, a much-loved member of Youghal Active Retirement Association (YARA).
We offer our most sincere condolences to Noreen’s family and her many friends in YARA and the wider community in this time of unspeakable loss.
Moreover, we are heartbroken about the circumstances of her death. Older people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Violence against older people, particularly a woman alone in her home, is particularly abhorrent and utterly contemptible.
