National Bowls Competition and Golden Years Festival both cancelled
The Covid-19 pandemic has led to the unfortunate cancellation of two of the Active Retirement Ireland calendar’s most anticipated events – the National Bowls Competition and Activity Break in September, and the Golden Years Festival in November.
Team skips have been contacted and booking deposits for teams will be returned to ARAs who applied to enter the National Bowls Competition 2020. All members with bookings are asked to contact Breaffy House Resort for a full refund on their accommodation.
The Golden Years Festival in Waterford is organised locally by Sacred Heart Active Retirement Association and organisers will be contacting Active Retirement Associations with further details.
Both events are due to return, bigger and better than ever, in 2021.
